2018 RX450h F-Sport Ride and Feel
I'm considering a RX450H F-Sport. Have not had a chance to drive one. Just curious how the ride and feel compares to the normal RX450h. The salesperson tells me there are 4 driving modes. I love how the RX450h drives and feels. The dealer did not have an F-Sport to drive today.

In my personal opinion it drives great.
The only problem is the F Sport seat. My wife didn't like it at all. She is used to of her Luxury seating.
Even I had a problem, it is too narrow, great for in town driving but not sure how good they fare for long trips.
Still if it was my car, I would've probably gone for the F Sport. I might have to lose 20lbs to get comfortable in it !
Thank You.

F-sport ride is great
I personally prefer my wifes 2017 F-sport over regular rx 350. The look and handling make up for firmer seats. The seats in F-sport feel pretty good to me and you do not slide from side to side in corners like I did in 2013 rx 350. I will agree seats should be a little wider but love the way they feel once I get seat adjusted to me.

How about the suspension dampening? Does it ride stiffer than the non F Sport? Also, I’m sure the tires are stiffer? I thought I read in Consumer Report or Motor Trend, that it was bouncy on freeways like the ones in Southern Ca?

The ride quality is great, very smooth, and no transmission shifts because of CVT. Like others have said, I prefer the look of the F Sport instead of the non F Sport, I have not tried the regular RX450h. I fit in the sport seats fine, however, I do find that it can be stiff/hard compared to the regular leather seats on the 2013 RX350 (my dad has one). Also, getting in and out of the car is not as easy as just sliding out because the side has raised bolsters.

There is no difference between eco/normal/sport, even if you have the AVS. Only the F Sport has AVS and with that comes the Sport+ mode, which makes the ride more firm. Sport+ mode is great on the freeway and for spirited driving, as it controls body roll and sway much better than the other modes.
