Default Repair or replace 2008 LS600h wheels?

I just picked up a second 2008 LS600hl with OEM 19” alloy 7 spoke wheels. Unfortunately there is a lot of curb rash on 2 wheels, and all have some discoloring/streaking to the finish. If I have them refinished should I have to do all to get a consistent finish, and is a small local shop likely to do an equivalent job (perhaps better) than the companies that do this in volume and sell on eBay? I see an eBay seller, autorimshop selling a set of “remanufactured” for around $800. So I could go that route, or just get a couple. Any thoughts on the best way to proceed from someone who has been down this road?

I saw the wheels below on another 2008 LS600 for sale, and like the look. They appear to be 19” OEMs too, but perhaps off another model or year. Does anybody recognize them? All the ones on eBay that look like this, state they are for a 2013 or newer LS600. Should they fit a 2008 as appears to be the case, or is there more involved?

My wife curbed mine twice. I took it to a local shop in Houston TX Called Sabs. They Charged me $150 for refinishing each wheel. I prefer the stock look over the aftermarket

Those wheels above are from 13-17 LS460s and LS600hLs. I have them on my car. They will fit your 2008 no problem.

Its actually quite easy and inexpensive to have your wheels refinished. Thats what I would do.

I like the look of the Lexus wheels too. We don't have a Sabs in Louisville, but Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist (www.awrswheelrepair.com/louisville/) has a franchise location here. Their Yelp reviews look good, so I may give them a call. Hopefully their pricing is similar. I might even do all wheels and go with a gunmetal gray powder coat. I suspect that will look good with the Starfire Pearl (white) exterior.
