Default 2019 ES300h price negotiable?

Hi all,
I am going into my local Lexus dealer tomorrow to see about pre-ordering a 2019 ES300h. I imagine that there will be a lot of demand for these cars and (at least for now) a limited supply. My question for other interested parties is: do you think that there will be any room for negotiation on price or will dealers insist on MSRP (or more) for the next few months? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

You would be wasting your time. They don't have order sheets yet.

Default Clarification

I apologize for not being clear enough in my original post. My salesman invited me in tomorrow to pre-order the 300h. Perhaps this is just a list of interested customers at this dealership; I really don’t know. Regardless, whenever the car is actually available my original question still stands.

Ok, now I understand. I'm guessing he'll take a down-payment and put you on a list. I don't believe they have pricing, so there would be nothing to negotiate at this point. Even when there is, I doubt anything under MSRP will be realistic.

The 18's with the $4,000 cash incentive are being discounted for around $9,000 than I would think $1,000-$2,000 would be reasonable.

Negotiation, except on the rarest and limited production cars, is always available. These are Lexus cars, not Bugatti's. Never pay list for any car, Lexus or other manufacturer.
At this point I wouldn't put any money down but instead wait and see the car in person. Once they have your money you're locked in. And suppose the car comes in with damage?
Would you want a repaired car for $55,000.00? I'd wait as there will be many new 2019's available by October... I plan to get a 2019 too but will hold onto my money until I can see the car up close and beat up the dealer on price...

I agree. I'm personally looking into buying one too. I'll test drive it in September to see if I'll like the ride quality. And get a good in person feel for everything. Then I'll wait till December to remember and buy mine.

We are talking bout ES not 9-11s. If the dealers won't budge leave and try again in a month... They'll budge then.

Paying MSRP for an ES is for impatient suckers.
