You made the right decision. I e-mailed about the 600 you were looking at and directly asked about whether the harness had been fixed/replaced to allow the airbags to work as intended. Their answer was that we could discuss it when I came in.

That means no but salesman thinks he can talk you into it, he made the right choice in skipping it. Don't want to deal with shady dealers like that.

Just to confirm: was this dealer Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett? I'm considering my next LS 460 and they're relatively close to me.

Edit: I just spent the last hour going over this cars service history and I can honestly say I've never seen a car with a more comprehensive history. It appears to have had three owners and every one of them took the car in religiously every five thousand miles for oil change/service. And every scheduled major service was done also.

I noticed that too on 07/31/2018 with mileage 104,514.

But then at the bottom of the photos on 08/03/2018 with mileage 104,515 there is a $3,241.76 repair (with dealer paying $341.12) listed but not showing what the repair was. I wonder if that may have been the main wire harness being replaced.

It likely is a mute point at this point since the buyer purchased another car, but I cannot imagine the hybrid batteries can last much more than 10 years with it being a bit pricey to replace these hybrid batteries.

My 600 HL drives fantastic and battery 100% after just a few miles on the hills. 182000 miles and can still take on a Porsche at 30 to 80 mph

I don't know about taking on a Porsche from 30 to 80. Its a heavy car, Porsches are close to 1500LBs lighter
