RX400h - Check Hybrid System, Check VSC System Warning.
This warning appeared suddenly and the mileage was 146k KM. I sent my car to Workshop (Not Lexus nor Toyota) to diagnosis and found Inverter coolant pump failure.
After google checking at internet, it was found that spare part required is G904048080 Genuine Toyota Pump Assy, Water W/Motor.
I order it from: https//partsouq.com. After replacement, my car is up and running as usual.

I had that exact same pump fail years ago, unfortunately it was at Thanksgiving and I had it towed to Toyota dealership and they fixed for around $500. But that was probably cheaper than Lexus. Pump is under $100, but hey I was so happy that the inverter was not the problem at the time...

Why then shop manual says to run pump with Techstream? That's why I asked, how it was bled. I mean - folks do have TS running, nothing wrong with that.

I have done it twice now. First time I used Techstream. 2nd time I just turned on ignition. I noticed no differences in the end result. Perhaps if thing are very cold, the pump does not run until things warm up.

wow.. this pump is running around $200 online. I am tempted to buy and keep on hand if I see it on the cheap. Sounds like another common failure part at this mileage like the leaking radiator. it looks like a $10 pump(cheap plastic)
PS. When I saw that upload reciept I thought.. must be an Asian/Chinese handwriting.. lol I was right.
Also.. are you Steven Seagal?!

Plastic is cheap but technology is expensive, haha.

I actually took pump apart and cut it in two. What failed was the bearings, than the rotor scraped the sides causing it to shut down. The pump is actually pretty high quality, but yes overpriced.
