2006 RX400h running question
I recently bought a 2006 RX400h with 140K miles. The car has been taken care of by the previous owner and required very few updates (changed the struts front and back). I have a very basic question: If the hybrid-side of the vehicle dies, (the hybrid battery, inverter, etc.), can the car still be driven on its engine (i.e., on a "non-hybrid" mode)?
Thank you!

Dont think so as when the car starts It goes through a check of all the warning lights ect to get to the Ready light on the dash
. If you dont get the Ready Light on dash you will not go anywhere..

No. You done. You can drive the other way around - run out of gas, then you have about a mile to go in electric only. then kaput. Dealer charge and tow.
Thing is, connection from ICE to wheels is via motor generator. No juice to MG - no go juice to wheels.
