So I think it was successful

Great! Is your 600hL now running on this battery? How's the range?

First time seeing this. Props to you for tackling this kind of project! Hope the batteries outlast the car!

Thank you for your kind words.
If one cell will go bad I can easily replace it. Prius cells can be easily purchased.

This is an amazing project, great job and keep up the good work! @argonfatl
Have you tried running the full battery test and life expectancy test with the Dr. Prius App? this might give you information of how these batteries stand up to the test.

Curious as I'm starting to research the LS 600 potentially for my wife....What does the battery replacement pack cost from Lexus?

If we end up going the LS 600 route I want to know what to look out for when buying a used 2008-2010 model.....

Thx guys

Looks like you can purchase an OEM LS600hL battery pack for $3900 (with core exchange) from this site: https://www.discountpartsmonster.com...ljLWdhcw%3D%3D

I purchased a CNA Warranty for my 2010 LS600hL, so my hybrid batteries are covered for 6 years in case they fail... Good luck!

Yes, CNA is a company that offers nation-wide car warranties. It is very reputable and gets good reviews from those who have used it. I was able to purchase a 6 year extended warranty on my 2010 LS600hL (which had 66k miles when I bought it in April 2018) for $2800. It will take me up through 125k miles, so I should get the full benefit of all 6 years (I only drive around 7-8k miles per year). CNA is one of the rare companies that will fully cover hybrid battery replacement - that's the main reason I went with them. You should be able to do a search for CNA warranty on this forum to learn more.
