Default replacing hybrid/traction battery

There are several reviews of the ES300h which rate this model as very reliable and long-lasting. Because of this reputation, lots of owners, myself included, may plan to keep the vehicle for a long time. I understand that the hybrid battery is warranted for eight years or so. Does anyone have experience with the process of having the battery replaced, either by Lexus dealer or one of the companies that specialize in this service? I was looking on-line at one of these outfits that offers to come to your location and replace the unit within 24 hrs., lifetime warranty, for about $1800. Any thoughts or advice?

From what I understand nobody on the forum has experienced battery failure yet.

I’m a mega commuter and will likely see mine needing replacement eventually. I’ve been looking at green bean batteries where they offer replacement within about 24 hours and an unlimited mile lifetime warranty (recently changed from 5 year unlimited mileage) for $2249. Lexus can’t touch that warranty and it includes labor. Great google reviews.
