2016 ES300H click in revers noise
So something i have noticed is that when i put the vehicle in reverse and start to back up i hear a click but just that once but its every time i put in rever like i can pull forward and then put in rever and it click i hear sounds, like its coming from the front end and almost sounds like a louder version of the safety brake release for when you bush the brak ein to shift into gear, is this something normal for the ES300h or is something wrong ? os is this normal for the ES300h

I picked up my 2016 ES350 CPO, 19700 miles, end of November. I just came from the Service department regarding a similar problem. At the end of the day, the service department told me it is common to get a click from the caliper, and it happens on quite a few models. The pads, rotors, clips and pins are fine and it is not a safety issue.
I am not thrilled with this response. I do intend to bring it to my friends service station and look into it myself.

Updating what I found after working on it at my friends service station. I found the upper slider pin on the passenger front brake caliper frozen. Dealership obviously did not do much more than a quick look over when they had it. I freed up and lubricated the pins on the caliper. It makes a light click noise now from pad shift, but no more loud clack. Very disappointed in dealers service.

I have the same noise when the car starts moving and also when slowing down.
I will check on the pins, as I had this problem on the rear calipers on my gs450, even though those did not click so loudly as the es300h.
These are the things I hate on floating calipers versus fixed monoblock.
