Default Any failed batteries while out of Warranty ?

Looking to buy a 2013 450h with 140K on it to use as a daily. I've been wanting another hybrid since I sold my 07 450H. I was looking to get a corolla when I came across the 450 for the same money. Drives great and just what im looking for mpg wise. Just with a lot more in terms of , well, everything.
Just want to calculate the cost up front should the battery fail.

Has anyone experienced this? where did you take it and what was the cost?
Is anyone here up that high on the odo?

Thanks

Subscribing to this topic. I'm only at 45K so I would be curious what the replacement cost is too. I am not sure who has the highest mileage out of any 4GS hybrid owner on this forum - but I'm guessing we have people that are past the 100K mark (which is where the Lexus warranty ends) that could chime in.

I would recommend searching on the 3GS for estimated cost and people's experience with replacement: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hybrid-technology-215/

Apparently there are a lot more option now that help reduce overall cost - such as replacing individual cells and all.

All the best and let us know if we can help out in any other way during your search!

I'm curious as well. I just purchased a 2013 with 130k a little over a month ago.
