Anyone knows if a ES300h BASE model is supposed to do the automatic mirrors tilting when shifting to reverse?

The owners manual doesn’t mentions it as an optional feature (like other features where you see an asterisk in the page to tell “if available“).

The regular adjustment of mirrors using the buttons works OK, so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the mirror motors.

I have followed the instructions noting that the selector must be in either “L” or “R” for it to work, but nothing.

I’m convincing myself that maybe the feature is not available in my BASE model. As I purchased used I don’t know if it ever worked.

If you do not have memory seats - then you don't have this feature. Memory functions require position sensors in the mirrors - which is needed to remember the normal and reverse state.
