hi so today I tried changng my rx450h brake fluid. the weird part i don't understand is after awhile there's no brake fluid coming out of the bleeder valve do i really need to use a tech stream to open up the actuator to bleed brakes? is hybrid different from non hybrid car this is my first time seeing this?
You do not want to perform a normal brake bleed on rear brakes for hybrids (and LS), the ABS actuator can detect a drop in pressure and turn on the booster pump which makes a mess. Proper way is to use the techstream, or you can pressure bleed it.

i used a vacuum brake breeder to bleed the fluid, it just that after awhile i dont see any brake fluid coming out no more is the abs actuator stopping the brake fluid from entering the brake line?

Yea, you can't vacuum bleed rear brakes on these hybrids...Like I said, you have to either use techstream or pressure bleed it.
seems like i got a lot of brake fluid for the rear brakes. the only ones im having trouble is the front brakes, when i release the breeder valve there some fluid come out then no more fluid coming out.
Don't know why you are doing it. The hybrids do not have a vacume booster, so there is no chance of air/water getting into the lines. All of that is old school thinking. I just has an motor to do the job. Wait for a couple of 100,000 miles.

The warranty guide recommends brake fluid replacement every 36 months or 30,000 miles. Are you saying this is not needed?
Theoretically air/water can enter the lines through the brake fluid reservoir. $250 is not horrible for peace of mind.
o.0? i live in sf and i park it in the street so the brake fluid get moisture from the brake reservoir cap hole plus the service manual say every30k or 3yrs. if you look closely there a tiny hole in the cap for atmosphere pressure.
