Thank you moderators for this wonderful gift. Now I have to visit and search two forums instead of just one to get up to date on my car.

You are welcome. Hint, you don't need to search two forums, just let the 'include child forums' default stay clicked and the forum search does both at once.

There are a lot of threads that were moved that don't belong in this hybrid specific forum. Were darts used to chose what was moved over?

Primarily a search of thread titles. If you see some that should be moved post up links and I’ll review them.

Here are 2 easy ones:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hyb...ws-thread.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hyb...a-systems.html

They're not at all hybrid specific.

Case in point - hybrid related question still posted in the general forum:

Appreciate you letting me know and put it in the right spot. However I’ve moved a dozen posts to ES forums from the IS and GS forums this week alone.... that happens all the time. People also don’t search and start new threads that have been answered a dozen times. Welcome to the internet

Why not do something useful and split up the 1st-4th ES generation forum instead? Those generations have nothing in common and no one will be confused which forum to use. And that single forum generates twice as much posts as the three other ES forums combined - and filtering through unrelated messages is really a hassle.

I’d love to but sorry that’s a nearly impossible task, same for early LS generation forums. There is no way to do it programmaticly, search is limited in the results it will bring back with number of character, there are limits to the number of threads moved at once (200) and there are tons of threads with responses that cross generations that would need to be unbundled and duplicated post by post to make sense. If you want to sign up to read 193,000+ posts manually and move them one by one LMK.
