2013 gs450h China
Hey
I got my car last week,Because the models are very rare, the price is very expensive. But I bought it without hesitation. It is 450h in 2013, HUD, ACC LKA MARK LEVEION, etc. Lexus ranks first in China's second-hand car market for its reliable quality. The purchase of a new car that year was 983,000 yuan, and some purchase tax was 10%, which was equivalent to 158,000 US dollars. I spent 358,000 yuan. My mother's 2006 Prius and my 2015 Camry hybrid made me trust Lexus very much. It is a pleasure to be here.
I am very sorry for my english

Welcome to ClubLexus.
Congratulations @diddlkiss! That must be a super rare find in China! You got one with many great features as well. How many miles does the car have on it? Thanks for sharing some photos. I hope you stay active here because we don't have many international hybrid owners -- I would love to hear what you like/dislike about the car after you drive it more.
I can't believe they are over $150K USD new there. That's insane! It should make us hybrid owners in North America truly appreciate how blessed we are as owners.
You paid around $52K USD, so I would say you walked away with an great deal paying 1/3 of the price of a new one after only 5 years since the car was released. Which part of China are you from? Are the streets/roads there maintained well? I'm guessing that you need to have insurance to drive cars there -- how much does that cost of the GS450h?
No need to apologize about your English - it is fine and actually better than many who first language is English on this forum
All the best,

Beautiful car!
Yes, owning a car in China is a really a priviledge. The car is already expensive, but the "registration," or the license that would allow you to own a car could cost more than the car itself!
Then there are the long waitlists you have to get through to get the registration. I think there are people that literally sell their waitlist positions to others for a fortune.
Finally, once you get to the front of the line, buy the car, pay the registration, you find out that you can only operate the car 6-days a week in some of the large cities (govt's way of limiting the # of cars on the road).
There's an amazing world out there! Always nice to hear from fellow owners in other countries.

Yikes! 358k Yuan for a 2013?? Jeez, that's a lot of money.
But I've been in China for 1,5 years earlier and I know in first hand how extremely expensive everything is over there.
I can barely understand how you can deal with it..

Clean that leather. It's supposed to be matte and uniform in colour. Other than that, very nice car, congratulations
Is the car any cheaper to tax/insure/etc, given that it's a hybrid? Also, why are all the buildings' windows guarded with metal rails O_O

Also there basically all of the windows was guarded with metal rails even though crime rate is low. I've never felt any safer in any country (maybe South Korea) than China.
Nobody will touch you, because why would they?
