Does anyone know of or have seen anyone selling a 2018 GS450H F sport with low miles? (Under 40K miles)

Any f-sport 450h is hard to find. I ended up just changing my bumper to f-sport. There are only a handful of 450h's for sale anyways, rare car in general.

They are quite rare, but every now and then, you'll see them pop up. The problem is that with this COVID pandemic, the value of used vehicles has went up -- due to people not wanting to sell/upgrade their vehicles & simply keeping what they drive. Hence it's even more difficult for people to find rare, used vehicles.

I hope you continue your search and don't give up. The GSh is worth the wait to be honest.

The GSh with F-Sport package that the OP is requesting is even more difficult to find.

G'luck to both of you guys looking. I hope you can have the patience to find the perfect GSh when it shows up!

Lol. Sorry, found out how truly rare it is (first year for the GS450h F Sport, has the previous styling I like the most, and only a handful were built), so not sure I'll ever part with it. Good luck on your search though! It will be worth the wait, regardless of which year you are able to find. I'm sure you will love the car!

Drove 4.5 hrs to CT today to test drive my first 2013 GS hybrid. 83k Car was in beautiful shape with every available option. ...but....I was looking too hard on the internet and purchased the Dr. Prius app last night. Wanted to see the life expectancy on the batts. I tested it out last night on my wife's 2011 RX 450h 135k and her's was 62%...fair rating by Dr. Prius. I think that's pretty good. Still average 25 mpg Today, I test drive the car and then decide to pull out the app and test the batteries since salesman these days can't ride with you First one was 48%. Came back to dealer and told them I was worried. He let me do it again the dealership lot lol. This time 54%. I didn't buy the car today, I couldn't decide. They wouldn't take 2k off 21k price, which I didn't think they would. So, I said maybe we can take it to Toyota dealer to test? Do they do that reasonably? Or should I just drive back and buy it? Need advice please!!!

My 2013 GS 450h has 107k miles and just drove from NY to VA today. I averaged 35.5 MPG, so yeah, battery degradation so far has had zero impact on mpg. Look at the 3GS forums, there are examples of 450h with 200k+ miles with original hybrid battery. Your app having a 6% variance on two different tests, doesn't speak well to it's accuracy. Also the battery system being warmed up and level of current charge probably can cause results to vary.

Toyota hybrid battery's have gone through several generations and been proven to last a very long time, just go through Prius forums to see examples.

Agreed with peasodos - the battery packs in the 4GS hybrid are not new to Lexus/Toyota and have been proven to last a long time. Even if you have to replace the battery sometime down the future, Lexus has been pretty good about working with owners. I know several from the 3GS hybrid forum who had to pay only 1/2 the cost when they were way past the 100K warranty. You can research about experiences with battery replacement in the 3GS hybrid subforum.

Edit: here is a really good topic from the 3GSh subforum that might alleviate your concerns: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hyb...tery-life.html

Also, please post pictures of your "new" ride when you get it and would love to hear your thoughts once you get some miles on it.

My cousin had a second generation prius with 250k+ miles on it, only thing battery effected was mpg, but it was still working. The car had other problems, was a daily beater at that point.

Its the only lux 450h for sale in the country. Fully loaded Lux with LKA and DRCC is hard to find especially for 2013.
