Default Engine oil surprise

Just got a 2006 rx400h!
Got a car fax report on the vehicle before buying and the vehicle was religiously serviced at a lexus dealership and not 3rd party.
while I was looking at the car before buying 3rd party I noticed some small drips of engine oil coming from the plug. I decided to buy it anyway knowing something might be wrong. Rest of the car looked fine and drove well.

I decided to change the oil which was recently changed by the previous owner at a lexus dealership. (Per carfax reports) . After removing the drain plug I instantly knew something was wrong. The bolt looked a hair too big. After test fitting a new bolt from autozone it wouldn't even screw in. The threads where stripped and the bolt felt loose inside the pan. I ended up taking the oil pan off which took about an hour. After removing the oil pan I saw these little metal clips in the pan. Not sure what they are but they look like they're used in construction. To anyone that has someone do their oil. I advise you to do it yourself. This is the crap you might have to deal with. And luckily the bolt was stripped or else I would have never taken the pan off. I ended up sanding and welding a temporary bolt in the pan so I can use it until the next oil change and replace the pan.

Kinda looks like some goofball tried to shove some kind of bolt thingy which those clips supposedly hold the bolt to the pan......That didn't work hence a oversize plug......Wow......Hopefully you pointed that out to the seller & got a better price, such as price of the pan & your time...
