Default Cleaning the hybrid battery fan

From this Toyota Hybrid technician, one of the most common cause of battery failure is a clogged hybrid battery fan

Basically a clogged fan restrict airflow and the battery end up overheating and on the earlier hybrid model the filter was not a part of the routine maintenance. I don't think the ls600hl from the year 2008 use serviceable filter yet and I was wondering if anyone attempted to clean the hybrid battery fan on their car as a preventive maintenance and the step involved. I have seen a few videos for the Camry hybrid which seems not that difficult but I would not be surprised if the step for the ls600hl is a bit more involved.
