Just paid $33K for a 2016 450H (non-F Sport) with 31,000 miles on her.. FULLY loaded. I think it was over priced by about $1500-2000 but I wanted the car.. And they are hard to find.

Once you get some miles on the new vehicle, if you could give us all your perspective coming from the 3GSh to the 4GSh, it would be really helpful/insightful for many on this forum... I imagine as prices lower and the 3GSh vehicles get older/higher mileage, we'll see even more demand for the 4GSh. The most obvious difference is a slight decrease in performance (0-60 times) to attain a bump in MPG numbers, but I would love to hear about other changes you notice.
P.S. - Added you as "friend" on here. Please accept. I have most of the 4GSh owners as friends on here. Enjoy the new ride!

So first impressions of the Gen4 vs a Gen3.
So far the Gen 4 is getting about 5 MPG better than the 08. That might be because one has 140,000 miles on the clock and the new one has 31,000 on her. Love the styling of the new car, and the LED headlights are amazing. I always found the 3 Gens to be rather "conservative" even a little bland. It was not flashy.. the new one has no problems in this department.
The new car is way "smoother" than the old car.. even on the S+ setting. The new car feels "bigger" in all of the good and less good ways. It is definitely slower (about a quarter of a second slower to 60) and steering is "softer". Maybe even a little over-assisted... The old car did a good job of feeling like an IS. It was "tossable" and quick and the brakes had zero fade and a great pedal feel. The new car does not try to hide the fact that it is a "big one". It feels "substantial" more of a luxury car and less of sports car... the 3 Gen was the opposite.
Love the toys in the new car, the HUD is cool and nicely integrated with the NAV system, the Lane Assist system, and the Radar Cruse. My kids love the back seat radio and AC controls with the heated seats back there too... Everyone thinks the self closing trunk is "funny". The 18? way diver and passenger seats are fun to play with too. Very conferable seats. The new heated steering wheel feels great...
The new car is squeak and rattle free. But the old car was mostly rattle free until around 80,000 miles. The hybrid system in the new car is considerably quieted than the old car.. The old car made really "fun" whirring noised during braking and coming to a stop. The new car does none of that.
The new car has a very high pitched whine that is barely auditable that seems to be coming from the big Hybrid module on the passenger side.. but it is very intermittent and always goes away after the first few minutes.
Having the Dash switch from "Hybrid Mode" (in Eco and Normal modes) to a normal Tach (in Sport and Sport+ modes) is cool too.
The infotainment system on the new car is huge and has a bazillion more options than the old car... It better integrates with my phone and music... But I miss the touch screen and the simple buttons on the side. The mouse thing will take some getting used to...
Listing the old car next week will be sad to see her go.
