Default Looking at a used RX - What to look for?

Good day, All.
I'm looking at an'08 RX400H that was purchased new from the USA. It has about 235k kms (converted from miles) and seems to be in decent condition other than not being driven very often. Aside from the loud fan noise when turning on the A/C (or any air circulation) which I can only assume means they probably have never replaced the cabin air filter - are there certain things to be aware of before making an offer on this car? I'd appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance.

Hi All. I'm looking at an '08 model which appears to be in decent condition aside from the fact that it isn't driven very often by the original owner, nor was there much record of maintenance other than "regularly scheduled" including oil change and checking off inspection checklists. This car was purchased from the US and imported to Canada in 08 by this owner back when the currency exchange was favourable. On switching on the A/C (0r any air circulation) the fan makes a loud buzzing noise. Could it be caused by stuff accumulating in the cabin air filter? Is it easy enough to pull that thing out to check?
The test drive went well leading me to believe this is a decent car. Are there certain things to look out for on these?

Hi,
Check for the below
1) See the average and current fuel consumption
2) Apply brake and make sure you dont feel too much back pressure or reverse pressure
3) See how the battery to engine transition takes place. Will be smooth but will have a small jerk. Should not be too obvious
4) Drive the car to 50 to 55 mph if needed convert to km/h and take the pedal off gas and see the long smooth coasting
5) Car has long coasting so try to apply brakes and see how well it stops. (400H does not have real powerful brakes)
6) Check body roll when you turn tell tales of suspension wheel bearing and shocks/struts
7) Hybrid battery is a bonus and ride to death and pay 2450 for a 3 year warranty hybrid battery replacement

Dont worry too much on
1) Engine oil/filter - Buy and immediately do a engine oil change
2) Air filter - 19.99 You can change it yourself
3) Cabin air filter - 39.99 You can change it yourself
4) Tranny drain and fill - 79.99 for Valvoline ATF WS. Dont flush. Toyota/Lexus ATF WS = 84 and you need a handpump to refill. DIY in How to sections
5) Do the Interior Vacuum and clean yourself - 2 hours good workout
6) Buy a monthly platinum car wash - Go through car wash once in 3 days and in 4th car wash your car will be coated with Caranauba wax again and again and you will have a spotless car
7) Buy a engine dgreaser and clean up your own engine bay.

rx350s go thru brakes. Not a huge issue, but i would get a look at the pads, and if they are gone expect to have to replace the rotors too.
