2010 rx 450h P0A7A error
I keep getting this error on my RX450H. The car won't start. Dealer said it was the inverter and it would be $8k for a new one. I replaced the inverter myself with a refurbished model. I pulled the hybrid battery, checked it and reinstalled it but still get the error. It will go to ready then make a clunk sound and then nothing. Not sure if its an ECU issue or what. I don't want to throw parts at it chasing this down. Its very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If and when you give up you may want to consult with this independent hybrid specialist shop if you want to avoid the dealer. They have many locations around the US.

Error codes never identify a problem. One can blindly replace and if lucky the problem is solved. But the error code should be followed by measurement. There is lethal voltages involved so a safer way would be to go to a tech,
can be used to educate.
Then voltages should be measured at the input of the converter. If energized the drive motor would spin ... so drive motor needs to be disconnected.
