Default Lexus purchase advise appreciated

My wife’s 2007 Toyota Sienna has recently been written off after she got into an accident. We’re looking to replace it with another Lexus. I own a 2010 ES 350 with less than 160,000 km (under 100,000 miles). I love my ES, I’ve owned it for almost 7 years and it has been totally trouble free. Looks and drives like a vehicle half the age and mileage. Now that the Sienna is gone, I want something that has a bit of cargo room, better driving experience and better fuel economy. I came across a locally and privately owned 2008 RX 400h. The owner is a man in his early 60s. Has owned it for 8 years. Vehicle only has 181,000 km (112,000 miles) and he has showed me his maintenance paperwork which seems up to date. Inverter and transmission fluids replaced recently as were struts and sway bar, timing belt, water pump and radiator. I test drove it and I did not spot any significant trouble issues. Brakes seemed odd but I know that’s a hybrid thing that takes getting used to and there also was a bit of a high pitch sound coming from under the hood at highway speeds, from reading about it, that also seems to be related to the electric assist. Other than that the driver side back seat passenger window does not roll up or down by using driver window controls, but it works from the back seat. I checked everything else. All worked well. No rust or any dings or major scratches either. Black interior is clean and neither the leather seats nor the dash have any cracks. Would you guys consider this as a relatively safe purchase for the asking price of CND$12,900 (about US10,200)? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Plz follow IMSQ's link above and see post #6 to click on a link about the batteries.

If the car looks legit and excellent condition inside and out(no body or paint damage) with extensive maintenance records, no rust,
and good tires at 112k miles- I would say it's a solid $10K car.

This assumes no hybrid problems.

-> Black interior is very desirable but whether it has Navigation feature adds no value.
