Congrats on your brand new NX purchase !
Can you post the package you got and some detail on the options and the price?
Keep us posted about your experience.
Thank You,
Take Care,
My wife had a 2014 IS 250. It had Nav, bi-led headlights, wheel upgrade (hyper silver?), heated and ventilated seats, BSM and so on… she bought that car July 2013. I thought she would never part with it.
The NX STD equipment is impressive. These have auto rain sensing wipers, cold package, pwr gate, sun roof(she didn’t want the pano, we have a pano in our 2018 ES which I like), towing package, heated leather steering wheel.
These did not have Premium Package. STD wheels, which we really like with the green. She may miss the ventilated seats in the summer but overall it’s more than what was on her IS.
I thought it was odd that the first batch would t be fully loaded.
I was surprised to see that the front outside door handles illuminate. The rear has LED turn signals but the front does not… with the STD LED headlights you have cornering lights.
We have never owned a hybrid before… interesting to see the EV button which allows you to run on EV only with certain conditions.
Price, let’s just say we paid sticker. Sticker was under $45,000. There was a dealer markup. The dealer literally had only 10 new cars on the lot.
they worked with us a little. This is our sixth new Lexus we have purchased from them.
Other than the listed equipment and the standard equipment the only thing we wish we had on this are the ventilated seats.
Remember coming from a 2014 IS this is a much bigger. The IS nav screen was extremely tiny. The IS had heated and ventilated seats.
we have played with the Apple Car play which is a big improvement over prior nav.
my wife did not want a lot of things. She did not want the pano roof (my ES has it and my prior ES and I really like the pano roof). She likes and uses a moon roof.
She didn’t want the bigger multi-media screen.
Her IS had nuluxe and after 8 years looked new. She didn’t want leather.
For her this one was perfect (except the ventilated seats).
She is extremely happy with the new NX!
I am glad your wife is happy with the new hybrid.
The black and cream seats are what I want to get at some point. Most of the hybrids seem to be coming with only black interior right now, so you lucked out.Wireless apple car play with ability to use google maps is a key feature I want. I guess you would have had to add the premium package to get the ventilated seats. I would want the 18 inch rims because I think they would hold up better in the northeast winter roads. I guess I want the 350h premium package.
Please let us more about your experience. Is it fairly quiet and smooth? Are you getting decent gas mileage?
Thanks for the excellent pictures, we're down to Nori Green, Atomic Silver, or Redline and your pictures confirm those choices. We'll see what shows up over the next few months.

I too like all three colors, Nori Green, Atomic Silver, and Redline.
My current NX F-Sport is Atomic Silver and besides the color making the car look a little sleeker and a little larger, it is great in the Pacific Northwest weather.
Last February I had my electric golf cart painted Nori Green and it gets a lot of admiring glances and comments, especially when it is in the sunshine, and you can see the gold flakes...but it is a devil to keep looking clean from dust and rained upon dust. Mud?
My truck is bright red, very similar to Redline, and it is generally easy to keep clean and the color gets plenty of compliments. But I dunno, a red NX zooming through traffic might be a little too easy spot.
RKF350, thanks for sharing pictures of your Nuluxe black/rich cream leather interior! I'm glad to see there is a black back on the front seats, so marks from passenger shoes hopefully aren't as apparent or hard to clean.
I've been eyeing this color scheme, but one detail I haven't decided on is the contrast stitching. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find one with this interior in-stock at a local dealer to see in person yet. What color(s) is (are) the stitching? Red or orange? It also looks like there might be some gray stitching on some of the black areas? I'd appreciate your comments on this aspect of the look.
Any general comments on this interior color now that you've had it over a month?
We had nuluxe black with crčme color seating surfaces on our 2014 IS that we had for 8 years. No complaints except we really wanted the ventilated front seats like we had IS.
The stitching looks more orange than red to me. It pops nicely with the dark interior.
no grey stitching anywhere. All the same color.

Thanks for the close-up pictures and clarification on there only being one contrast color. Also great to hear the surfaces stand up to the test of time.
You have a great eye for composition--these look like marketing shots!
