It would be nice to know how many Lexus 4GS 450h there are in various areas of the world - especially in the United States and Canada, but also with a breakdown for the regions of Western Europe, Southern Europe, Northern Europe and Eastern Europe, as well as Asia.

I don't think I've ever seen that statistic.

I suspect more were made for the Japan market than the US market but that's just a guess. I love this car and can't believe it's not more popular, really feel like it's a hidden gem. I came from a 08 GS350, this feels faster, quieter, nicer interior, and gets better mileage!

Lots of them in Japan. More so than the GS350.

Yes, I'd say so!

I suspect South Korea and parts of Russia and China in Northeast Asia and East Asia account for a fair amount of Lexus vehicle sales, and maybe some of them are GS 450h models.

I've had mine now for a little over a year, and I've never seen another one on the road.

Thanks for this statistic, JDR76.

So my GS 450h is one of only 40 model year 2018s in the U.S. That's kinda neat!

You're welcome!

Back when I picked up my 2019 GS350, the dealer had a brand new 2018 GS450h F Sport for sale. Someone had ordered it then changed their mind. The sticker was $75k. $15k is a huge premium and that's what makes the GS450h a much better buy as a gently used vehicle.

I can tell the numbers sold by looking at domestic recall data from Japan.

ie

666+313=919 GS350 in 1.5 years
1880 GS450h in 1.5 years.

Gs450h doubles the amount of gs350s.

The numbers explain why GS 450H line was end of life in the US

So my 2013 GSH is one of 522 sold in the US that year? That is cool knowing that. Can I say Cool? Does that date me? Wow. Such a nice car in my mind. Am I being objective. Was it a nice car? Why didn’t more sell? Damn, Tesla sold more than that I believe.

Is there any way to find out how many gs450 f sport cars for North America is there a breakdown of the vin number that denotes the F sport pakcage? Maybe a breakdown of the 2013- 2015 year and 2018. I know the 2015 was the only year of the f sport gs450h for 2013-2015 cars. I have yet to see another f sport gs450h in the wild aside from the atomic silver posted on this forum. Are there any gs450h f sport specific threads on this forum? sorry for the random post. These cars are so good I would almost buy another one if I could.
thanks

Wow... I wonder how rare my 2013 with PCS/DRCC/LKA and the Luxury package with LED headlamps/ML would be. I don't think any list breaks it down by packages.

I'm so happy I found one with DRCC/LKA AND Lux pack, but these stats would explain why I couldn't find any newer ones since they were even rarer to begin with! Some newer ones would either have DRCC, but no Lux or Lux but no DRCC (and I believe the Lux package was stopped for 2017 on and I wouldn't have this car w/o the Lux package).

I understand why though, this car went for 73k back in 2013, and sorry but that is an insanely high price (factor in inflation too) for this car. However, yes, as a used car, it's quite something and a bargain!
