Buying 350h - How to Negotiate?

Nx2018 to 350executive
Is it a good deal if my dealer take from me the 2018 and i take the executive lease 48 month for 900$. Canada. The issue is that i have to wait for 4 months and pay a 1000$ deposit. And if the car will take more than 3 months , they will extend my lease for the time the new one arrives.
the 2018 is leased.

Sounds like a BAD deal to me.

It may mean you get allocated a new NX sooner as the dealer really wants your 2018. Gets to double end their profit. It might make better financial sense to buy out your 2018 at residual value and sell it yourself for a hefty profit. Put that profit down on the new lease and have lower lease payments.

2022 NX350h
Hello, I signed a deal for new Lexus 2022 NX350h yesterday..
My offer
Traded my 2020 NX300h lease was up this month (has 11Kmiles on it)
New 2022 NXh lease details
2 years lease - 10K miles/year
3K down
310$ / month for 2 years
residual value 34K
Is this deal good?
Dealer said my lease can be extended further after 2 years if needed

How Rimes Changed Almost Overnight!
it depends on the dealership. I would not deal with any dealership that is charging over MSRP or forcing you to buy worthless extras. I bought mine from a dealership in Memphis and they did not charge over MSRP or throw in any extras.
there was a lot of pushback in the US right now for dealerships that are charging over MSRP. There have been corporate announcements from the major car manufacturers that want to hear about dealerships that are doing this so they can adjust their allocations.

Now on the waiting list on a NX350h for my wife, MSRP + $799 of dealer add on.......oh well, you win some and you lose some.

Yeah my son will be getting his license soon. He will be getting his mom's old 08 RX350 AWD,150K miles, still going strong. Otherwise I would wait for another couple of years.
At least I don't have to go out and buy a 4 year old 100K miles Honda Civic at $20K.........
