it’s because of the VSC recall. Not the weld recall

Bummer. It was made in Japan. I was really hoping that that wasn’t the reason. Definitely going to have to rethink if it’s worth getting that particular car. I’d much rather pass and get one without the welding recall….even if it means more waiting. Especially since there doesn’t seem to be a fix in place.

This would be great as I don’t mind purchasing the vehicle if it’s only a software update needed. I’d rethink purchasing a car with the welding issue though. The Lexus app used to have the specs of the vehicle, but that has since been removed, so I can’t check the manufacture date to see if it may have been impacted by the welding recall.

If you have the vin, you can enter into the Lexus recall website and it’ll tell you exactly which recalls it has. However, given that you don’t have your car yet, I’m almost certain (99.9999%) that it’s just a VSC as I’m tracking about 5 vins for members currently and they are all in the same boat

I am only seeing the VSC recall when I run a search for the VIN, but I wasn't sure if that means I am in the clear for the weld recall. I was supposed to get the car at the end of March. Currently, the dealer has no delivery date to share when I check in. I do know that it made it out to Colorado from Oregon, which is progress.

Yeah you’re in the clear then. And if your car is in the states already, if you want you can send me the vin and I can check if an estimated date is available

yes they really need to upgrade the Es300h with the NX electric motors and it should able to do high 6 seconds to 60mph.

Thank you TipsyTonio! We picked it up today and holy wow this thing is awesome.

Photos do not do it justice. The palomino interior is something else.

350h. Premium package. No HUD, 18 inch wheels. I’ll post more photos once the windows are tinted.

Red w/Palomino is exactly what we're waiting on too. Thanks for the pictures!

It's a great combo! I'm getting windows tinted on Friday so I'll throw some more up, and maybe a short video of the car and how it operates without the HUD.
