Default Any 100k+ mile 3rd 450H? Looking to buy one

I'm currently in the market for a 450h and came across one that locally that has 127k miles. Looked up it's service history on the Lexus site and has been serviced at the same lexus dealer its entire life. Only concerning note was something related to previous owner complaining about about a "thump noise while braking" and clicking which seems like it was determined it was the axles.

Just looking for some feedback from folks who've already in this similar mileage bracket.

155K miles for me, no significant issues. The thump noise might be the infamous brake bark, which is not uncommon (mine's been doing it for years) and more annoying than anything provided nothing more serious is going on. The axle clicking thing is also not unheard of.

The way the Hybrid braking is configured can lead it sometimes to unusual noises and feel on the brake pedal during some braking situations, especially over rough or uneven terrain. In conjunction with the ABS system it can cause some unusual noises (thumps) and clicking from the ABS(engagement).
Since there is no direct mechanical connection from the brake pedal to the actuator, the system sometimes quickly jumps from ReGen mode to full regular braking, with ABS momentarily jumping in.
For anybody new to driving these vehicles , I can see why it sometimes seems like there’s an issue when there may not be one.

I’m at 180k with no significant issues outside normal maintenance.

I would jump at that deal in a second, especially since you have maintenance record history.

Why not go for a newer 2015 model with less miles (<25k) ?

That way it still has plenty of life left and would have less interior wear.

But double the price!

based on my search on Auto trader up here in Canada comparing 2010 vs 2015.

187k miles for me. We would get another if the opportunity presented itself, but until then, we will continue to drive this.

Because of my budget. I also only drive about 10k miles a year, so I'm perfectly happy with the idea of moving on to something newer in 7 years.

We've also had a Prius and currently have a CT, so I'm familiar with the hybrid systems. It's interesting that these smaller cars share similar symptoms with the RX, such as noisy axles and the brake actuator. Currently dealing with both issues with our CT.

But awesome to get all this great feedback. Hoping the GS sells soon so I can jump on this RX.
