Hi i made some Dyi on my car today since car cant move i replaced, cabin filter, it have a lot of leafs and it was fake brand cheap chinese stuff 10$ , i put new original one,
when i tried to replace the air filter , i saw it was jako hert buss, but it have some strange thing under my original one toyota denso filter doesnt have such thing is it part of the box assembly or it was set from previous owner or can someone clarify do you have it in your filter box as well i attach photos



i am talking about big white thing attached to yellow part of the filter, my other cars doesnt have such things/filters , also denso original filter doesnt have this as well...
should i remove this white thing or attach it to my new genuine filter from denso/toyota or please advice i dont want to brake the car.
And since i am Dyi person i do maintenace by my self at least things i can do.
