2022 NX 350h Roof Rails / Tow Package
While I was waiting (3 months) for our new NX 350h (received one month ago), I had asked my salesperson about roof rails and tow package. He told me I could just purchase the rails from the parts department and the full tow package (wiring harness included for towing) wasn’t available for the NX 350h but that I’d be able to add a receiving hitch for hooking my bike rack to. After receiving the car, the dealer parts department told me that the rail kit was “on hold” indefinitely and the tow package would NOT be available. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Maybe ship them from the UK if you are desperate?

Help needed!
I picked up my new NX 350h a few weeks ago and tried to have my roof bars/cycle racks moved from my Jaguar F Pace, however the dealership said they weren’t compatible. Visit to Halfords who ordered a different fix pack, but they are now saying none of what I have is compatible as my Lexus has fixed point rails with a flush cover over it??? Spoke to the dealership again who confirmed it’s definitely a flush roof rail 🤯 but couldn’t really give me much more info than that. The pictures added above look like the bars are attached to a fixed point….. so I’m no nearer figuring this out. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Yes, the fixing points are fixed. There are two rectangular inset recesses below the roof rails that are covered by silver plastic covers. You prise these covers off and replace them with black covers provided with the cross bars kit. The Black covers have smaller rectangle holes that the feet of the cross bars go into and are secured by 2 screws for each foot.
It is a bit like a mortise and tenon joint used in woodworking.
Hope that helps.

I am seriously thinking of ordering this OEM roof bars from the UK to Canada as it's not sold in North America. Thule still does not have roof bars with channels ready for the 2nd gen NX either.
Can you confirm if the channel in your OEM roof bars is the correct size to work with Thule's bike rack attachments?
Specifically these T-Track bolts that slides into the channel.

Thanks.
