Default Burning/itchy face

This may sound silly but has anyone experience a burning like sensation in ears and like an itchy face feeling in a 2019 RX450h? My wife and I both do while in ours? We just bought it with 24k miles. Could it be something with the car or an allergic reaction to something in the car?

That’s bizarre. My wife and I have many allergies (my wife has more if you are keeping score - and I am ), but we have never experienced anything like this. I wonder if the previous owner or dealership used a powerful cleaner to get rid of an odor and the fumes are the source of the irritation. Can you smell anything unusual? Do you have a garage you could park it in for a few days with the windows down and sunroof open? Perhaps go out once a day and run the fan on high for 5 or 10 minutes while trying to clear it? I would be concerned about what you are breathing in if it is causing this kind of reaction to your skin. Allergies are a funny think but it seems very odd that you both have the exact same reaction - it would seem to suggest a solvent fume or something other than an allergy?

Good luck and keep us posted. Still good resale on used cars. If you can’t vent whatever is causing this, I would trade it in for another before you lose too much equity. The car should NOT be causing this reaction.
