I’m not too sure if luxury tax is only bc thing or not, but my sales quote showed that I pay 5% gst plus 10% pst. But I searched bc website, and it says that zev pays only 7% pst and that zev includes plug in hybrid like bmw x3. (From feb 22, 2022) Anyone from bc actually been through this issue?

Yeah seems like my SA doesn’t know **** and not up to date for those infos. He wasn’t even aware of $5000 rebate so I had to educate him. Gotta call him tomorrow and get it fixed.

I'm in Vancouver and my quote show 5%GST and 10%PST as well since there still a long way to go before the car arrive, I am going to finalize the details with him when the car has a ETA.

In BC the luxury tax starts at $55k. However, for zero emission vehicles it starts at $75k. I didn't pay any luxury tax, but I also traded in my vehicle.

The $5k rebate is only applicable to the base 450h.

This is the updated tax rate for car deliver after Feb 23, 2022 for BC.

I was originally quoted in Richmond, BC with the 15% tax in April but recently checked the Lexus website and realized its not charging the luxury tax anymore so I asked my SA and he confirmed there is no luxury tax on the 450h+, just 12%.

yeah I’m in vancouver too with Regency lexus. I’ve emailed them few times but my SA never got back to me. Guess I have to visit there next time and get some update for my eta and stuff.

I'm with Regency Lexus too. When did you place your order? My SA is generally response to my email no later than few days but it could be he is a younger sales and better with technology?
Last he mentioned I should be expecting my car at end of summer or early fall after I decline the 450h+ executive trim demo in March.

I placed mine in April this year. My SA was the oldest guy and seems like he doesn’t check the email. He told me to expect 9-12months so it’ll be next year for me. I guess you should get yours soon as I see lots of new nx on the road. Friend of mine placed the order in Dec from richmond and got his car last month.
