Buzzing noise when braking to stop
#16
The Lexus brakes should not bark. This has been an embarrassing issue for Lexus for over a decade now. The only solution is to replace the ABS unit, which is expensive. Again, Lexus brakes should not make any noise when pressed. After all, this is a luxury car.

All Toyota and Lexus models make buzzing sound and it is related to the pressure accumulator.

See, some people say it’s normal and some others say they don’t hear it at all. I have luxury model as well and I feel like that shouldn’t matter. I just feel like it’s normal sound, however, it shouldn’t make the noise so often like mine. Not sure what to do, especially when dealer is telling me it’s normal😥

Have you found a resolution for this? My es300h is making the same annoying buzzing sound every single stop. Sometimes not even stopping. I don't think its normal. Maybe every couple of stops, but every single time pressing on the brakes is excessive and feel like something is off. Any thoughts or anyone else experience this?

I have the brake boost buzz in my '23 ES 300h. When I first open the car door, pretty much any time I stop or even tap the brake pedal. I have a '23 RX 350h which is nearly identical under the hood and never heard it make that sound in a year and a half. So far no actual problems, it just seems strange.

7ES, Camry, Avalon, RAV, Corolla Cross...they all activate the accumulator pump when the driver opens the door. It is completely normal.
