Typical wait time for NX350H

I was told 2.5 months but I got my NX 350h in about 3 weeks. I paid MSRP. I put my $500 to reserve a car that was allocated to the dealer - so I had a specific VIN my deposit was associated with. There wasn’t much paperwork to the reservation, just a print out of the car’s specs, price, VIN and my credit card receipt stapled to the paper. I think the timing 2-4 seems reasonable. My salesman said he would keep me informed. He contacted me about a week later about 3 other NX 350h’s that were scheduled for delivery but I was not interested in those colors so I waited for the car that I had reserved

I ordered the 2025 NX350h in March 2025 from the only Lexus Dealer in Honolulu… was also told wait time was 2-4 months. Can’t wait! I’m anxious to replace my 2024 NX350 with the hybrid. Wondering if t should check with the dealership to confirm all is tracking…

How lucky that you live in Hawaii. Sounds expensive to buy a brand new car and have to replace it a few months later but it’s a good car that’s for sure I have one the hybrid, mines a 2022.

You'll be very happy with the MPG you get from the Hybrid. Gas in Hawaii is as expensive as California.

Yes, I’m looking forward to getting better than 20 miles per gallon of gas. I don’t drive much, maybe 10-12 miles a day, and most of that is less than 55 MPH and on surface roads.

The 350h excels in those conditions. I get much better MPG while driving around town than I do driving on the freeway.

We were very fortunate when we recently decided to replace our Audi Q7 with a Lexus NX350h. We viewed an NX350 (no h) at Greenville Lexus (SC) and were informed there was a White Luxury edition 350h arriving “soon” (on a truck headed this way). We told the dealer we’d take it on a Wednesday and put down a deposit sight unseen. They seemed a little surprised at this but we knew what we wanted. It came in on Friday (they sent a picture of it arriving on the truck). They prepped it and we picked it up the following Wednesday. We did not have to pay any additional dealer mark-up and they did not force us to purchase the paint protection. We think the dealership was very accommodating and easy to work with. A shout out to Greenville Lexus!
As far as the car is concerned, it’s perfect although it came with a couple of port installed options we don’t care to much for: specifically roof bars and the activity mount. Turns out the roof bars will work with our Thule Kayak racks so that worked out okay. I removed the Activity Rack (rated at 123 pounds) and replaced it with a Drawtite 2” hitch (which I paid too much for at E-Trailer). The Drawtite has much greater load capacity so that we can use our relatively heavy 1UpUSA bike rack and carry our electric bicycles (total weight about 160). Now I just have to dispose of my old Thule Aero bars and the Activity Mount.
Oh…one final note: the roof racks are a bit of a pain to remove primarily because of the snap on covers. In removing them, we already had one of the snap tabs break off so I’m not that fond of the design. Still, we don’t use them that often so it’s not a huge problem.
