Not true. My Luxury NX350h was built in Cambridge.

$8k over msrp is high for a 350h. Local dealer asks $5k. But check truecar for your ZIP.

Were you flexible with color/options and/or buy something on the lot? Dealer is willing to waive ADM for hard-to-move colors and drivetrain/trim levels.

I've been told the wait is 2 to 4 months...not clear if this means being allocated a car or delivery and to be honest it doesn't really matter I just want know a car is on it's way. Do you think under the current market conditions 2 to 4 months

Thanks, John.
I waited 3 months and got delivery at the end of March. My salesperson now saying wait is 1 yr at least. Paid msrp

$8000 ADM is ridiculous for a 350H. I just spoke with Nalley Lexus in Atlanta and they're adding $1200 to MSRP (in the form of paint/fabric protection, etc BS).

I think it's regional and also depends on how hung up one is about color. Some colors sell for more in certain areas. $8K is steep, though, and should be possible to negotiate somewhat lower.

Default Wait is over

I ordered a fully loaded atomic silver start of December 2021. Delivered mid July. I’m in Washington state. Paid MRSP but dealer added $3,000 in “extras” (including lo-jack for $1,500 that I do not need). Other than the wait and the $3,000 worth of crap they added I love the car and it was worth the wait.

Another data point: Lexus of Bellevue (Seattle) told me today that they add $4500 of "dealer options" to the 350H!

Tustin Lexus, CA. Put my deposit down in May. My salesman got me a green 350H and black 350H in July. I turned down both and then he got me my white one. Made in Japan in 7/18, got delivered last night. I did paid a markup and they gave me a decent price for my trade in.

Edit: Stopped by the dealer and decided to hold off Palomino/Luxury. The Palomino gives the interior some brightness and the Luxury pack just makes the everything look a little better. I think Atomic Silver looks great so I'd be OK with either Atomic Silver or White. I have to keep waiting. Unfortunately he doesn't know when they'll get one and won't even take a deposit.

Got a call from SA today. They have an Atomic Silver/Black/Premium coming in a month and he asked if I wanted to put a deposit. It would have a $5K markup plus alarm and ceramic protection (both things I would never have ordered on my own). My first pref would have been White/Palomino/Luxury so I'm sort of making a triple compromise. The colors are a reasonable second choice. Should I go for it? Or would I miss the Luxury? I wanted Luxury because those are the seats I test drove with. I guess I could try the premium's seats. I actually prefer the 18" wheels of the Premium but I think I like the wood with the Luxury and the leather doesn't hurt either.

I think these are the options on it (see attached).

Just read your post. My dealer refuses to take a deposit until they actually have a car coming in which is what complicates things a bit. It means I have to keep calling him to check on inventory, especially since their website doesn't reflect the latest.

Are you also giving up the HUD with the Premium package instead of the Luxury package? Maybe it doesn't matter to you?

HUD doesn’t matter to, but after looking at the Premium yesterday in person I have decided to wait for a Luxury in Palomino.
