If you go dealership, that's about the price. I got similar pricing when I checked with my dealership. But I've opted to go with my neighborhood, family-owned tire shop.

Is there a significant price difference looking outside the dealership?? I am guessing it's best to go with the Run Flat tires because no real place for a spare tire in the NX

The tire price is similar in tire shops and dealership. The rims from Lexus are more expensive than aftermarket ones. Some tire shops have the installation included as a package but dealership charges extra for installation.

I bought a set of 18 inch rims specifically for my NX450h from Lexus dealership for $260 each. Most aftermarket rims are around this price mark or more.

Default Shop around

I say shop around. You can't know what tire shops are charging except you so them.

I'm pretty sure you can beat the dealership cost for the winter tire package. By how much? You can't know until you check with the shops.

I'm in Canada and my neighborhood, family-owned for years tire shop is beating the dealership cost by a reasonable amount; enough to make me choose family shop over dealership.

Sorry guys, a simple question, just like to confirm the torque, on the manual it says 103 ft.lbf, is that right? somehow, i remember, for Toyota, it's 76 ft.lbf. Thanks!

I think I found the answer by myself, in the big thick paper manual, I found multiple locations written 103 ft.lbf/140N.m.\

And, just found out I need a guide pin.

Great question. I’ve always used 80lbs on Toyota and Lexus products. I understand that we now have a different lug nut situation. Would the 103lbs. apply to aftermarket rims with a different style of lug nut?

Nice rims! Can you confirm the size of the lug bolts you use for the rims? I need to get some bolts for my aftermarket rims.

Thanks. I found this lug bolts in PartsEngine. But It seems not mentioning the sizes of the bolts. Do you have any idea about it?

not really. I sent an email to the store where I got mine installed but they only sent me back with the partsengine link.

Finally got my Lexus OEM 18" winter set up installed.
The Lexus OEM TPMS registration as 2nd set was a breeze. Just set to 2nd set and click new registration, then drive for 15 minutes and tire pressure automatically show up.
