My ultra luxury 350 doesn't have the puddle light either. The cover is a bit recessed. Does any know how to pry open it? I worry that it will drop inside the door panel. Did anyone install puddle light themselves?
yes I did. You just use a small flat head screw driver if you don’t have those plastic removing tools. Pry outwards from the side closer to the door hinge. It will come off towards you.

Yea I just installed them on my 350h ultra luxury. Really easy to pop open if you have the plastic prying tool. I pryed from the bottom and it came out easily.
Can someone confirm if I order the side puddle lamps from Lexus dealer, do I order quantity = 1 and it comes in a pair for both doors?
Or I need to order a quantity of 2, one for each door.
I have a US base model NX 350h that was built in Canada. I don’t see any wires - definitely was not attached to the back of the cover. I pulled the whole bottom of the door panel and don’t see any wires. Has anyone confirmed if the base models in the U.S. have the wires in the door for the puddle lights?
Hmm, very interesting that the US version are different than the Canadian version which doesn’t make any sense. Both my brother 350H Executive package and our 350H Ultra Luxury doesn’t have the puddle light but the harness is there behind the blank. One side the harness was plugged into the blank but the other side wasn’t and the harness was jammed between the door and the panel.
Fifth vehicle with Lexus puddle lights. All the others bought on Amazon and yes a little less expensive but no where near the brightness and clarity of these. The light almost gives a 3d effect and are $46 a pair. The NX has no lights in the back doors. The rear trunk puddle light is a Lexus part. I ordered online at Lexus Charlotte. The NX comes with one LED bulb in the trunk hatch. As you can see in the pics the new one is four and so much brighter. Two mintues to replace. Just like the door lamps. Pop out the old one unplug and plug the new one in. It comes with an adhesive strip that you wrap around the connection. No instructions in the box.
Has anyone taken off the inter door panel to see if the wire was left zip tied to the wire harness somewhere in the door . This would be a great deterrent for many that would like to do this mod . But I would do it if someone could take a picture and show me the wire connector is truly there .
Love the 3D effect it gives out and definitely the clearest projection I've experienced!
I have these in our RX, NX and put them in a friend's NX. Have bought numerous other brands on Amazon cheaper price not anywhere near as bright and sharp. 75% less cost than OEM.
