Default why some lexus models Gs450h have different gearbox style?

Hi can someone tell me why some lexus models Gs450h have different gearbox style?
i am talking about 4th generation lexus gs450h not petrol fuel cars.
here are some pictures as example for example my car have some retro style gearbox

i am not talking about before and after face lift i am talking cars same year, why is the difference?

In this 1st picture you see lexus gs450h gearbox style please see in the gearbox **** its different compared to the second picture both cars are same year 2012.

in this picture is again gs450h

same year same model 4th generation
both cars are regular i am not talking about f sport...

Can someone please explain to me why there is such a difference,
also can 2nd picture gearbox **** be made like the first one or the whole console and many other parts needs to be changed i am asking because it looks much better and much more comfortable to operate...

The operation of the gearbox is simular you have D/n/r etcs sport mode but with the first one you go from up until down, in the second gearbox you need to go right down and its much worse to operate.... its so old design, whats the reason they decided to do 2 different gearboxes types?
Can 1st gearbox style be retrofitted somehow into the 2nd one or its not possible?

1st pic is a gas-only car. Notice the engine start button isn't blue like the hybrid model.

It's just a gear selector cover the earlier 450h had the plastic panel and later they changed to a shift boot. The transmission and shifting is exactly the same. This is just a cosmetic change. Your not going to listen to anything we say so there is no point.

How about you fix the other problems with your car so it actually runs and drives before chasing these cosmetic things.

For my shocks for example i wait for my village service person who is very busy, for rust i am not sure if there is any hope i plan not to drive the car whole winter. Yes i am waiting as soon as village repair man is ready and available and free for me i will go for some repairs.
Is a must to change coolant for battery and brake fluid mine has never been changed for 11-12 years.
