Stock tires for NX 350h
Hey all,
my 23’ model is coming in 1-2 weeks, and I’m curious to what kind of run flats come with the vehicle. Is it all weather? I live in NY, so all weather tires are important.
also, any tips, or things I should know about? Thanks!

Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 RFT (18 and 20 inch) or Alenza 001 RFT (20 inch)
You can find full specs on www.tirerack.com - search by vehicle and select OEM tires.
The first two are all-season, the third is summer. All three are pretty lousy. In general, RFT suck: expensive, don't last, have worse ride than conventional tires, usually can't be repaired. (Some manufacturers allow repair but only if the pressure never dropped below 15 psi.)
Mine has Alenza A/S 02 RFT and they are not the worst tires I ever had, but certainly worse than even cheap Coopers or Kumhos I recently bought for my other cars.

when you say lousy, do they have poor traction in the snow?

They have very shallow thread (8/32") and snow traction is below average for all-season tires. They don't have good dry traction either. Their dry traction is rated "B", while 90% of modern tires are rated "A". And their treadwear rating is only 380, so they will likely be ripe for replacement at 20k miles or less.

I have the 18 inch wheels. After the first light snow I didn’t like the grip so I got Michelin defender LTX ms. They are not snows but are good in the snow. I mean the roads have to have some plowing but I have had good performance from them in my highlander prior to getting this NX. The run flats are in my basement now. Use them for 14000 miles
