Really excited to be part of the Lexus NX gang and was able to record my delivery experience with my 2023 Lexus NX350H. The family is growing so we needed something bigger and after looking at all the options in the market, we decided to pull the trigger on the Lexus NX!

We got the same color combo interior and exterior as you. Prejudice but we think it is one of the best looking vehicles. It is winter and we have less then 500 miles on it and averaging 40mpg. Expecting after break-in and warm wather to up that to 45 mpg. Congrats on a wise purchase. The NX is such a solid and quiet ride.

 

Wow you are already averaging that fuel economy? Are you using regular or premium fuel?

It took us just over a month to find that color combo. Very hard to find one available that's not spoken for. Well worth it.

 

Is that orange cover in the engine compartment (12min into vid) the thing you pull off when you have to jump the car?

 

If you get a lot of snow, you might want to get tires that work well in snow. You can always reinstall the run flats in the spring

 

No - I believe that's the main connection for the hybrid system. To access the charge point, lift up the fuse box cover. The positive charge port is under a red cover towards the rear on left.

 

Congrats on your new NX. We have the same model in white but with black interior. I would have preferred your palomino interior but we had no choice, it's take what comes in or wait forever. Since we are 40 min from the dealer our salesman offered to deliver it to our house. What a great way to treat a customer. We also get free oil changes as long as we own the car. I am disappointed in that we are only getting 34 mph so far in 700 mi total.
