I just got back from three days at the Washington, D.C auto show. The Lexus rep there said they were doing studies on the market for an IS430...it is a strong possibility if the demand is there.
Also got conflicting words on an upcoming SC300...same platform as the existing SC430 but without the trick folding roof and with the IS300's straight six. Should run around 40K or so. One Lexus rep said there was a prototype coming...another denied it.
You guys going to the Detroit show next month ( I won't be there )....maybe you can get the scoop from the Lexus CEO if he is there.
