I just bought a Lexus from the dealership, and am thinking about modding my car but am afraid it would affect the warranty. Does putting on simple mods (like intake, exhaust, headers, etc) would void the warranty? Has anyone here had experience with dealing with warranties while having mods?

there are laws stating that unless dealership can prove that the mods are directly related to whatever defects you got on the car, they have to honor the warranty. so if you have intake and the engine hydrolock, you areout of luck. but if you put intake and the shock goes bad, they have to replace it
