TLC RIDES the IS 430 on Feb 3 at 9PM
Just wanted to tell you guys that RIDES on TLC is going to cover the IS 430 from start to finish. SET the VCR and drool baby.

After watching the show last night, I want that IS430 so badly. 0 - 60 in 4.8 seconds!!!! All on a non FI engine!!!! Does anyone know what muffler system it has? It sounded just amazing when Rod started the car!!!

it's funny coz' from 6.8 to 4.9, that's already 2 seconds off the 0-60. so i thought they would be able to shave off a bit more off the quarter mile (specially with the v8). i don't know what's the general 1/4 time for the is3 though. but is3 is a slow car, so...and yes the exhaust is a custom one.

I guess I was the only one let down by the show.
Too little time talking about the IS and the mod's needed to make it function properly and too much talking about magnetic shocks, drifting, and a bunch of ancillary topics.
I loved the way that IS430 sounded though and sure would love the opportunity to buy such a car (ARE YOU LISTENING LEXUS?????)
