2004 IS300 SportDesign
Hello Everyone,
Lexus is making a '04 SportDesign again this year, which is already on the way to dealerships within 2 weeks of now. Here's what they will be like:
Production is January until June 2004
Colors: Black Onyx with Charcoal finish wheels, Thundercloud Metallic with Charcoal finish wheels, and Alabaster with Silver finish wheels. For those of you who are not familiar with Alabaster, it is an off-white currently on the ES330. The interior colors are black with gray "piping" or Smoke Gray with double stitching. Smoke Gray is a "warmer" shade than the 2003 Ash Gray -whatever that means.
Features: Chrome plate tailpipe, 11 spoke 17" wheel, SportDesign fender badging, Black Pearl emblems, "Titanium" housing on head/fog/tail lamps, Eurotuned suspension (manual transmission only).

Hahahahahaha....how do you really feel about the Alabaster?
Actually, I saw a picture of the it on the IS300 SportDesign and it looked pretty cool.

Liz...take that back! you'll agree with me when you see those pics on the Toyota Pressroom page. They have several shots of the IS SD in Alabaster.

Well, I got a multi-page memo regarding the new SportDesigns and there was a picture of the Alabaster and it's not so bad. I think it might actually be a popular color on the IS. Personally, I like it. Believe me, I've seen worse. Just don't start flaming me 'cos I like a less popular color.....like yellow. Hee hee.

I dunno about that color on an IS. It looks ehhhh on an ES to begin with. That's a very bland color compared to DWP or CW (Diamond White Pearl or Crystal White for those who don't know).
