Default Oil Filter Part Number???

Hey guys...so my first oil change is due on my IS300 and i've been reading up about everyones opinions and decided to go with Mobil1 Syn...

BUT I don't know the part number on the toyota OEM oil filter! Apparantly, from what I read on IS300.net and here there are two different types of filters...one made in the US and one made in Japan.....

The one made in the US has a toyota part number of: 08922-02011- but thats the crappy filter supposedly.

Now whats the TOYOTA not Lexus part number of the good one thats made in Japan? Is it A6000-116737 (I found that online)

Oh yea - also how much do you guys pay for a quart of your Mobil1?? The cheapest I can find it is $5 bucks a quart and we need almost 6 with the filter right?

Thanks!!

I just switched to synthetic at 15k, can't see a difference, but I've run synthetic on all my cars, so why not. As for the filter, I also heard NAPA gold filters are good, not the usual cardboard stuff.

BTW, I got some Zaino, I'll do your car for you when the weather it nicer, let me know.

Maybe it matches where I backed into a trash can. Come by whenever, usually slow on tues. and wed.

Mobil makes a good filter too, but they are rather pricey.
