Default anyone else hearing this noise??

whats up cl members,
a buddy of mine went on vacation for a week and he left me his car, so i can use it till he comes back. Its is a 04 IS300 5-speed, this car is definatly alot more sporty than my GS. Also very fun to drive but i have a bone to pick with this car. While shifting gears i hear a clucking noise EVERY time i shift gears, i dont think that there is anything wrong with the car it only has 2000 miles on it. Am i doning something wrong or is this just how the IS300 shifts gears??

ok i guess thats normal then, thats really not cool considering this is a LEXUS we are talking about not a daewoo here i figure that Lexus engineers would take care of a clunking noise between gears..but o well what can we do??

well not sure if i would say normal, but it's very common among 5 speed is300. i have that from time to time, but after driving the car more it does start to go away. apparently when you drive the car more you tend to know more about how and when to shift.

if you try to double clutch and shift up, you probably won't have it

Eh, that is what the radio is for, if you can't hear it, it's not there, just like the noisy release bearing
