another 2 years????!?!?!??!?!?!?!!?? that's sucks So, that means toyota is planning to use that same platform for like 8-9 years without even facelifting?? i think that's too much o well what can i do

maybe lexus will just stay with the current is300 without any facelift until the new style comes out

And, don't forget.....one of the reasons the current IS handles and performs as well as it does is the body rigidity of the sedan. A convertible, yes, is fun on a nice day, but they are heavy and tend to have cowl shake and body flexing. The only convertibles that don't tend to cost BIG bucks.....like the Mercedes SL.
