Default I love this car

Last night I caught myself driving...for no real reason. I had come home from work, ate dinner watched some tv and just decided to go to the mall ( 15 minute drive ). After being there for a few minutes I decided I should drive home so I did. Then watched some more tv. I then called a friend of mine and asked what he was doing he said nothing really just sitting at my house. So I said can i come over and he said ya sure. So I drove over there stayed for a while and then came home. I just realized that I love this car. I thought that would make a pretty good commercial for lexus. Does anyone else ever just kind of drive their car for no reason.

well it's 2.5 here in CA and it's ok to me i guess. honestly to me if you can afford a 30k car (in my case 2) then while gas is indeed more expensive normal driving is still ok

Yes, we know gas is expensive in CA....for several reasons. One is the huge demand for it in the L.A . basin........probably the largest car market in the country. (My D.C- Baltimore area here is the second largest.....honest.) Second, the gas you guys use in CA is made to a specific low-emission formula unlike that in any other state, so supplies of it can't be shifted around the country or imported from other states to help balance out supply / demand....it is strictly a local CA market. Third, CA has high gas taxes......whether this was Gray Davis' fault or not, I don't know...we weren't told the whole story on that back East here, but we hear that that is one thing Schwarznegger is trying to address. Not surprising, with those fuel-guzzling H1's he drives.

Well, apparantly it IS an issue........ even with Lexus itself. The company is spending a lot of time, engineering, and money developing the RX330 gas-electric Hybrid, just to get good SUV mileage.

I do it all the time. I think I'm a bit obsessed with the car. I pay whatever for gas.....it's like therapy, so I just pay it.

I loved mine at first, but notice now that it's lacking on the low end. I need a couple 18's in the trunk.
