I like my car being one color, I see a lot of IS300's with carbon fiber hoods @ car shows would everyone here choose to have one or stick with current hood? I'm just wondering whats the better look, I also don't want to look like a civic!

I think its all depends on how you want it to look like. For me I like one solid color. When I do get to the point where I get a carbon fiber hood I will do something like wxman where its the same color as his car but you can still tell its carbon fiber when you look closer. I think thats SICK!

I love the reflection in my pretty black paint. Can't get that with carbon fiber

i love the way phillzpeed has done his. he has carbon fiber but has white painted on the sides.

i like the fiber hood on certain colors, my buddy has a carbon fiber hood and front lip on his graphite is and it looks bad(in a good way)....also that 2tome hood phiiy did is just awesome imo...here is my buddies pic

I like phillzpeed hood, I wonder how much that cost? Do they paint right on to the carbon fiber?

well he actually had to get a shop to do it from what i understand. but whoever did it, did a fantastic job becuase there are no seams what-so-ever. it looks just like the hood came that way.
