I was thinking about painting the window trim when we did my car, but now I am glad that I didn't :YUCK:!

Yeah I don't like painted window trim. It makes it look cheap. Like a CE version of the Corolla. I've seen that before on an MSM IS back in college. I didn't really care for it. Although the darker colors like Black Onyx, the window trim is color keyed since it's obvious and pointless to paint it black anyways. All the other colors though have the window trim painted black. This is pretty much the case for most all Toyota/Lexus models.

some ppl (like edgy for example) have CF window trim...i think that looks good on his car...

i don't know about painting them though...i like the fact that the black OEM window trim simply blends with the windows of the car (esp if you have tinted windows), and doesn't stand out. i can't imagine painting my window trim TCM...i don't think i'd like it...it "breaks" the visual line when you look at the car, y'know? but that's just my opinion...

The black looks better...especially with a yellow IS. I'd like to see REAL chrome trim offered, though, like Jaguar used to...not just the chrome-film plastic stuff that is an insult to people's intelligence.
