Default Some New Wheels

I found the wheels I want. They are 17" X 7.5 so I can use the factory tires and I think they look super sweet. Nice price tag, set of 4 for around 1G.

I think they's look alright, you;re just going to need a bit of a drop. I've been kicking around the Idea of keeping a 17" wheel on the car when I upgrade. Now if you are wanting to re-use the bridgestones, I woudln't do it, get rid of those tires at the first oppurtunity.

Default wheels

Hey, i've heard that unless you're getting 18's you should stay away from aftermarket wheels because of the high quality of the stock wheels. However, i'd rather have as little unsprung weight as possible, so 17's IMO would be best. Good luck.

SDuquette:
How do you plan to drop your car? Coilovers or what? Also, what is so bad about the bridgestones? I've heard they have a bad tread life, but are expensive which would add quality to them. Thanks.

They wear out and their traction sucks. I went through mine in under 5k miles. I switched to BFG'a and am over 10k miles with more than 50% tread left, and they grip like a mother, even wet, although they are a bit noisy. For my car I will probably just do a spring and shock setup, I don't race it much, maybe see the track once or twice a year, so I don't really need a coilover. Thinking Eibachs or teins with koni shocks.
