solo, if you do it, do it right man. get the flare and put 10 in the back

haha... i'm married now... money is an issue.. hahaha. but, 10's would of been nice.... but 9.5's were ordered. I am considering the R-spec. Steve at Carson said 6 weeks @ $7 bills.

Would you guys buy replica R-spec flares?

I haven't heard of any replica R-Spec flares, but since the authentic ones costs so much, then I would probably consider replicas. I guess it also depends on the material used to make the replicas as well. How much are the Wald flares BTW?

Wald USA is a good friend of mine here in San Mateo. I will get a personal price, but it is:
$550 at Intense Motorsports.
$200+ for replicas.

I am working with a friend in SoCal to have some replica R-Specs made.... At this time, the replicas would be fiberglass. Carbon fiber is still being discussed. Bottomline is perfect fitment and getting our hands on a set of the Flares. Steve at Carson said 6 weeks. Hopefully we can get it sooner.

Again, this is just a though and perhpas a reality when the time is right. I myself, would settle for a set of R-specs, but like what everyone else said, they are just too damn expensive for little pieces of fiberglass.

Open for discussion.

are you sure?! with my gs4 and ONLY 300hp at crank, if i get tc and lsd, i can spin my 20s all day already. with FI, i think 10 with 275 is so warranted

Haha, point taken. Maybe I just don't drive as crazy as you do.
If I can afford it in the future I'll get some nice wide wheels.

We fit 19x9 Model 5's by folding the lip outward and then molding the flair. It gave us another 1/2" of clearance. You could also bend the fender under the flair out to give you more room.

Love those wheels! The former PLP-owned IS300 has the R-Spec flares with 19x9 Model V's as well. It has 265s in the rear. I wonder how he modified the fenders, because his car sat pretty low:
